Harbor facilities at Leghorn blasted

Twisted steel and scattered debris is all that remains of the harbor facilities at Leghorn, on the west coast of Italy. This third largest port in Italy was blasted by bombers of the Mediterranean Allied Air Forces as part of the operation strangle that successfully stemmed the flow of supplies to the Hun on the Italian front.
