Graders levelling runway area

Graders, with blades lowered, make the first cut. Following the lines of stakes set by the surveyors, they start levelling the runway area, evening the ground and trimming the grass. Later, they will raise their blades and lower a set of large teeth located in the front of their machines, and begin to "scarify" or break up the ground. - FRANCE
