GIs on Capri

It's hard to tell who's who on Capri. The photographer yelled "Hey, fellas", mind if I take your picture?" These three GI's didn't mind. Later they admitted to being a Maj. and two Captains but they wouldn't give their names. The "Capri craze" for wearing straw hats or other odd costume is probably a desire to escape from the war. But the Air Corps has always favored its own smartly casual style of dress, long ago won official permission to adopt Doug MacArthur's floppy cap for its own.
