Havoc was wreaked by bombers and fighter-bombers of Maj. General John K. Cannon's Tactical Air Force in the final blow of "Operation Strangle". This German gun carrier will see no more action and the gun will roar no more. They were knocked out during a strafing attack on one of the roads leading to Rome, Italy.
