At the German airdrome at Reims in occupied France, six large hangars were partially destroyed; three workshops and two warehouses completely destroyed and 15 other buildings damaged by the 20 May 1944 attack of U. S. 8th AAF heavies. Many bomb craters may be also seen in the target area.
