French pilots in bi plane

" Wrong way" and "Inside Out, Upside Down" flying is taught experienced French fighter pilots in this old bi plane, a Stamps of Belgian manufacture, now powered with a British-built Gypsy engine and equipped with Swiss and German instruments. Maneuvers and stunts impossible in High-speed aircraft are performed in this plane to demonstrate gravitational and inertia forces which would exceed human endurance at greater speeds. Shoulder straps and body harness are used in addition to conventional safety belt to prevent occupants from being thrown from plane in outside loops, and upside down flying. - FRANCE
