French-flown Marauder co-pilot in AAF unit

The co-pilot of a French-flown Marauder. Both pilot and co-pilot hold the rank of Captain. In an AAF medium bomber unit this would be unusual. Eagerness to engage in combat led many combat crew members to forego promotion, assume secondary duties. Flying glass, life preserver and parachute are identical to that issued American crews. - FRANCE
