Fragmentary Field Order over Leyte Island

The day before a mission, the most anxiously awaited document is the Fragmentary Field Order. The one shown in this photo was issued to photographic crews before a photo reconnaissance mission over Leyte Island in the Philippines. "Frag Orders", as they are called, in-formed personnel as to the flight schedule, briefing, take-off and the aircraft to be used.
