Flying Fortresses of the 15th USAAF Made a Successful Attack

Flying Fortresses of the 15th USAAF made a successful attack on the Kagenfurt airdrome in Austria on 31 Jan 1944. Photos before and during the attack are shown above. Interpretation shows 16 enemy planes destroyed and damaged on the ground. A very heavy concentration of hits can be seen in the North section of the airdrome with direct hits on barracks, administration buildings and airdrome facilities.
