Flying Fortresses land in Russia

FIRST U.S. PLANES LAND IN RUSSIA: Flying Fortresses peel-off to land above U.S. Strategic Air Forces airdrome in the U.S.S.R. after attacking targets in German-occupied Europe. Other Fortresses already have landed and crews are being welcomed by high-ranking American and Soviet military leaders upon completion of "shuttle bombing" mission No. 1, which had for its target a marshalling yard just back of the German-Russian front.
