Flying Fortresses attack Naples harbor

Supplies for the Axis forces in Tunisia are being attacked all along the line from base to battle front. The harbor at Naples, Italy, has been pounded time & again by Flying Fortresses of the U.S.A.A.F. This reconnaissance picture of the battered waterfront shows a hole (1) 340' long on the Victor Emmanuel Quay with Beside it the stern of a merchant vessel (2) - destroyed by an explosion - sticking out of the water.
