Flying Fortress attack at Turin

The main ball bearing plant at Turin catches the bulk of the AAF Flying Fortress attack on December 1. Huge explosions and smoke mark the direct center of the target area. The veteran Flying Fortress group responsible for this particular bombing was flying its 200th mission, and was the first to bomb Europe from England on August 17, 1942.
