Firestone Plantation Cemetery In Liberia

The Firestone Plantation Cemetery is located on the United States Reserve Section in the jungles of Harbel, Liberia. The keepers of this cemetery are former head hunters of this part of Africa. The Monsoon prevents the necessary up-keep as all work is usually washed away at this time of the year. This photograph was made during the Monsoon and while it was raining.
