Fire bombs over German towns

Fire bombs that recently set the German towns of Julich, Heinsberg, and Geilenkirchen on fire were fashioned from captured Nazi belly tanks and bore the French inscription shown HERE. Literal translation: Return these containers immediately to the nearest airdrome or head-quarters and you will receive 10 Reichmarks. Republic P-47 Thunderbolt pilots of the group commanded by Col. William L. Curry, Raleigh, N. C. are looking for the nearest Jerry paymaster.
