Fiat plant bombed in Turin

Turin, Italy--, 1 Dec. Production facilities of the Fiat plant which escaped on 8 Nov. were hit this time by 354 tons of 500 and 1,000 pound bombs by 118 Boeing B-17s escorted by 38 Lockheed P-38s. Many bursts can be seen in the target (outlined) and the railroad yards as the attack begins. Of 25 to 30 enemy planes the P-38s shot down two and probably three others.
