ENSA show at African Radio Station

A representative audience of all ranks forgets the war for an hour at an African Radio Station, and runs a show by the traveling ENSA. Left to right in the front row are: Lt. Gen. Carl A. Spaatz, Commanding General of the Northwest African Air Forces; Lord Trenchard, Father of the RAF; Maj. Gen. James Doolittle, Commanding General of the Northwest African Strategic Air Forces; and Vivien Leigh, of "Gone With The Wind" fame. The program was presented at the request of GI's who were unable to attend the regular show the preceding night.
