Eighth Air Force Fighters Over Paris

LOCO-BUSTERS RETURN TO BASE IN ENGLAND AFTER STRAFING PARIS, FRANCE -- Fighters of the Eighth Air Force, over six hundred of them, continued the attack against German transport, 17 August 1944. One thousand railroad cars and other targets were destroyed or damaged in the area surrounding the battle lines.
