Dummy factory near Pilsen

The Germans built a huge dummy factory three miles outside Pilsen, Czechoslovakia to deflect Allied bombers from the big Skoda Arms Plant in Pilsen. The bombers were fooled only once. The Germans went to a lot of trouble to invite bombs on the dummy, they lit fires to indicate that previous bombs had been dropped, turned up the lights, and even dug simulated bomb craters. But all to no avail.
