Dummy factory near Pilsen
The Germans built a huge dummy factory three miles outside of Pilsen, Czechoslovakia to deflect Allied night bombers from aiming at the huge Skoda Arms Works in Pilsen. The bombers were fooled only once, though the Germans went to a lot of trouble to invite bombs on the dummy. They'd light fires to indicate previous bombs had been dropped, turn up the lights, dig a simulated bomb crater. But all to no avail.
