Dummy factory near Pilsen

The Germans built a hugh dummy factory three miles outside of Pilsen, Czechoslovakia, to deflect allied bombers from the big Skoda Arms Plant inside Pilsen. The bombers were only fooled once. The Germans went to a lot of trouble to invite bombs on the dummy; they lit fires to indicate previous bombs had been dropped, turned up the lights to show work going on inside the dummy; and even dug simulated bomb craters. But all to no avail.
