Dornier 335 Fighter-Bomber at Dornier Plant

DORNIER PLANT DISCLOSES NEW NAZI PLANE -- This is the brand new twin-engine Dornier 335 fighter-bomber, which featured something new in German aircraft, front and rear propellers. The plane, which never was used against the Allies because of timely strategic bombing, had a speed of over 400 m.p.h., at 25,000 feet. It is seen at the Dornier Assembly and Repair Plant at Oberpfaffenhofen, 15 miles southwest of Munich, out of production by five U. S. Army 8th Air Force attacks. The plant put out 200 motors weekly as well as many planes. The attack destroyed as many as 1000 to 1200 aircraft.
