Desert Air Force at St Veit

With a pinpoint precision, fighters of the Desert Air Force picked off two "live" locomotives in this railroad yard at St. Veit, Austria, and caused other damage in the attack on rolling stock. The tracks also were cratered. This bombing by DAF planes is part of the MATAF assault against enemy movement in southern Austria.
