Craters in Saintes

There is a very large group of craters in and immediately surrounding the N. and central part of the M/Y in Saintes, France. Almost every building in the yard was either destroyed or severely damaged with the station and large engine shop both being severely hit. Several large shops and warehouses suffered heavily, numerous cars being wrecked or burned. Two very large craters appear to be the results of hits on ammunition cars. Every line through the yard was out, many for long stretches.
