Craters in Melun rail yards

Concentration of over 50 craters in sidings have cut several tracks and damaged rolling stock at the rail marshalling yards in Melun about 30 miles southeast of Paris, during the attack by 8th USAAF heavy bombers on 22 June 44. Two medium-sized buildings were destroyed and a large freight depot severely damaged.
