Corinth Model sawmill on Los Negros

When the lumber comes out the other end of theportable Corinth Model sawmill, set up by 8th Engineer Squadron attached to First Cavalry Division on Los Negros, Admiralty Islands, it is sorted and stacked according to size and is ready for shipment. Daily the yard builds up huge piles of planks and beams. Owing to the urgency for the material, it is not seasoned but used green and trucks load up and carry the lumber away as soon as it has gone through the mill.
