Conflict in Kunming China
RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE - Internal conflict in China is reflected in this series of pictures just arrived in this country from Headquarters of the Tenth Air Force in Kunming, China where soldiers are standing armed guard and installations are blacking out at night. These photos were taken three weeks ago when the Chinese National Army troops and Yunnan Province soldiers clashed outside of the Tenth Air Force Compound, west of Kunming near the Stilwell Road.
