Combat Crew Library at Framlingham
1944-02-10
A general view of the newly-opened combat crew library at a fortress field, at Framlingham, England. It was made possible through the efforts of Captain W. E. Hardell, Minneapolis, Minnesota. The object of the library is to furnish a place where the members of the combat crews can keep up with the latest information on equipment, war news, operations, etc. Large wall maps are kept up-to-the-minute in regard to the war news, and various panels in the library are devoted to special departments, such as, weather information, pictures of the bombed objectives and any new developments in the campaigns. 10 February 1944.
