Chinese Americans at Kunming

Chinese, who are American citizens in the United States Air Forces, work on a Curtiss P-40 of the 76th Fighter Squadron, 23rd Fighter Group, at Kunming, China, 20 November 1942. These Chinese men came from the United States to fight with the American Volunteer Group in September 1941. They are, left to right: S/Sgt. Pak On Lee of Portland, Oregon; S/Sgt. George Lunn of New York, New York; S/Sgt. Phillip Pon of New York, New York.
