Chapel made from P-40 in Kunming
GIs of the 301st A.D.G., Kunming, China, made this chapel out of various parts taken from a Curtiss P-40 airplane nicknamed "LITTLE FLOWER" (originally of the "Assam Dragon" squadron). A blue supply parachute was used for a sanitary ceiling and tabernacle was made from stainless steel machine gun belt conveyor. Chaplain Charles L. Meeus, speaks from pulpit which was made by using the airscoop of the "LITTLE FLOWER".
