Cat's Claw gun on Okinawa

WAR CASUALTY THREE YEARS LATER - The 155 mm. gun carriage was named the "Cat's Claw" when it participated in the battle for Okinawa, Ryukyu Retto in World War II. It, and many others, still remain along the countryside on the southern part of the island near Buckner Bay as grim reminders of that conflict. An airman goes topside for a better look.
