Seated in the cockpit of his plane, ready to take off on another mission, is Captain Leland P. Molland, 1415 8th Ave., So., Fargo, North Dakota, who has a grand total of 145 missions to his credit and is one of the leading pilots in his North American P-51 Mustang group, now stationed in southern Italy. Captain Molland is quite a stunts-man, which many times has enabled him to out maneuver his opponents while on missions over enemy territory, and has 7½ enemy planes to his credit as well as one probable. 7 February 1944.
