View of Cape Adelaer, Greenland. Warehouse on the left and on the right is rescue house of 1943-1944 BICD installation. In the foreground may be seen doghouses. Water for camp is normally obtained from stream running to right of rescue house. The stream runs into the early winter but then either freezes or is blocked up until late spring. Liquid water must then be obtained by melting snow. 19 Dec 1944.
