C-47S over English Channel

Douglas C-47s transferred to the French Air Corps and manned by French crews are hustling critical supplies right up to advanced airfields from the huge Air Technical Service Command depots in Britain. High above heavy clouds enveloping the English Channel far below, this heavily loaded French Douglas C-47 roars on its way toward its destination, a fighter-bomber field close behind the front lines in France.
