C-47 Skytrains in Italy

From a base somewhere in Italy, Douglas C-47s of the 51st Troop Carrier wing line up on strips used by big bombers before their take-off for Greece. They dropped British Paratroopers into Greece, and towed gliders loaded with British infantry. Then they moved on to another field in Greece to pick up supplies and cart them to starving Athenians.
