Bridge at Tarascon during attack

The target, a railroad and roads bridge across the Rhone River at Tarascon, Northwest of Marseilles, during the attack. Similar to operation strangle when tactical air force constantly hammered at rail lines, marshalling yards, bridges and ammunition and fuel dumps, Martin B-26 Marauders of the 12th Air Force are daily pounding similar targets in Southern France.
