Brazilian pilots attack Bologna

Sparkling fires swept through this group of houses occupied by German troops defending Bologna, Italy, after a fire bomb and strafing attack by Brazilian pilots of the 22nd Tactical Air Command. The fuel tank incendiaries have destroyed one house and set two others ablaze, while machine gun hits have caused smoke and dust on two other buildings. The huns were set up here at S. Lorenza in Collina, but the A.F. attack wiped them out, another instance of the sweeping effect of air support to the 5th Army.
