Bombs over Wiener Neustadt plant

These bombs have just left the bomb bays of heavy bombers of the U.S. Army 15th AF and are about to fall on one of the most important aircraft production centers in Europe, the Wiener Neustadt plant which turns out ME-109 fighter planes for the Nazis. This particular target is the Fischamend Markt fuselage and component factory. Photo was made during an attack by MAAF.
