TARGET...A Nazi strong point holding up an Allied advance in Normandy. Here you see six 500 lb. bombs just released from the bomb bays of a Ninth Air Force Marauder medium bomber of the 386th Bomb Group and headed for another precision objective behind the enemy line somewhere in France. It's another example of the close support given Allied doughboys by Marauders and Havocs of the Ninth.
