Bombs on Naples harbor

Bombs falling on the harbor at Naples during a raid by about 100 Flying Fortresses of the U.S.A.A.F. (April 24) Below them other bombs are to be seen falling in the water while smoke from fires & explosions drifts across the harbor In this attack 10 ships-2 of them liners-were seen to be hit. A fire was started in one of them. A repair ship, 3 submarines & a cluster of smaller vessels were also hit. 7 merchant vessels, a floating dock, a liner & 2 escort vessels were damaged.
