tight cluster of bombs on Leghorn harbor, dropped by a formation of Martin B-26s of the 1st Tactical Air Force. Leghorn is in the path of the Allied advance in Italy. The missiles were dead on the target, destroying two 400 ft., merchant vessels and damaging several smaller boats. Medium bombers are consistently hammering away at Nazi supply routes, hampering retreat at every turn.
