Initial hits on the target, railroad tracks and yards at Siaokichen, in interior China, are clearly shown in this picture. The bombs were dropped by a medium bomber of the "Gambay" Group, one of the units of the 14th A.F. hard-hitting Chinese-American Composite Wing which has been blasting Japanese railroads and communications lines in interior China. June 6, 1945. 1st Bomb Group, Provisional; 1st Bomb Squadron, Provisional.
