Bombers strafe Japanese barges Southwest Pacific

American bombers and fighter are bombing and strafing Japanese camouflaged barges on which the enemy is continuously attempting to land food and supplies at scattered bases throughout the Southwest Pacific barges may be seen attempting to hide along the densely wooded shores of New Britain.On a sweep along the coast the same day seven barges were sunk and a number damaged.
