Bombers over Belgrade airdrome

1944-04-16

Flying Fortresses and Liberator bombers of the 15th AAF attacked the Belgrade-Zemun airdrome scoring hits on runways, shops and barracks. A few bombs hit the nearby Belgrade Rogosarski aircraft factory. The aerial assault took place on April 16, 1944.
