The Air Plan, "Operation, Strangle", has worked since February 18, 1944 to choke off all means of transporting supplies to the Huns on the Anzio and Cassino Fronts. Closeup of bomb pattern on the rail and port target of Ancona on the Adriatic coast of Middle Italy. Boeing B-17 Flying Fortresses of Strategic (15th) AAF did this job. JUN 5 1944
