Bologna railyards under air attack

Traffic from France, Germany, The Balkans, and the great industrial areas of northern Italy was funnelled thru the railyards at Bologna. Thus the rail center was a choice target of 15th A.F. heavies. This is how the railyards fared under air attack. The photo was taken after the fall of the city.
