Binoculars from Rumania evacuation

Lt. Irving Fox, of Cincinnati, Ohio, brought back this pair of German binoculars from Rumania, when he was evacuated from this fallen Balkan Country, by B-17 Flying Fortresses of the 15th Air Force based in Italy. Many of the 1,000 evacuees brought back some souvenir or other of their internment.
