Bebe Daniels at 9th Air Force Base

At a 9th Air Force Fighter-Bomber Base, commanded by Col. Ray J. Stecker, Hazelton, Pa., former West Point All American Football Star, Bebe Daniels noted Screen and Stage star is the first civilian to entertain American troops in Liberated areas of Normandy. Together with Bebe is her husband, Lt. Col. Ben Lyon (left) and Cpl, Archibald Beare (center) Memphis, Tenn., who performed with her. Music was played by 9th Air Force "Skyblazers", and in addition to the show there was the opening of the first American Red Cross Aero (field) club in France which was another event of the day.
