AN EIGHTH AAF BOMBER STATION, England. The baseball season at this Flying Fortress base in Britain got off to a flying start recently when Lt. Col. Alexander G. Montgomery of 47 Lawsonville, Ave., Reidsville, North Carolina, executive officer at this station, threw out the first ball in a ceremony that reminded the GI spectators of the opening of the baseball season at home.
