Ball Turret Gunners on ship

All three of the ball turret gunners on the under side of this ship can swing on an attacking enemy fighter, whether he attacks from head on, from under one side, or from up under the tail—all three balls will bracket him together. There will be at least six guns (three pairs) brought to bear in the event of a belly attack. In addition, waist gunners cooperate on beam attacks (from the side)—or if the attack is from the tail, the tail gunners will chime in with their fifties. ENGLAND. (Boeing B-175)
