B26 Marauders take off from Sardinia

Six Martin B-26 "Marauders," of the Mediterranean theatre's oldest medium bomb group, take-off in unison from their base in Sardinia. Believed the first such attempted by "Marauders," the six-plane take-off saved five minutes from the time for "joinups" and permits an interval between take-offs to allow the settling of summer dust.
